I consider myself fortunate to do what I love. My passion for the law and for helping people has enabled me to be successful at my job. I take pride in the many referrals I get from other attorneys and satisfied clients, which in turn allows me to provide representation to a broad spectrum of clients. I represent the “everyman and woman.”

My practice is devoted to serving criminal defense and personal injury clients. I represent the accused and the injured throughout northern New Jersey.

My Legal Background

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University in 1987, where I majored in Economics and was accepted into the Scholars and Honors program. I received my Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia in 1990.

I moved to New Jersey shortly after earning my law degree, and became licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. I am authorized to appear in the trial and appellate courts of both states, as well as federal proceedings in the United States District Court of New Jersey.

I have been appointed to the Board of Governors for the New Jersey Association of Justice (NJAJ), and was appointed as Co-Chair of the Criminal and Municipal Court section of NJAJ. I am also a member of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey (ACDL-NJ). In recognition of the seven-figure settlements and verdicts I have helped clients achieve, I have also been named to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

My Approach to the Law

Any attorney with integrity and ethics will not promise a particular result in any individual case. However, a caring and skilled attorney will be able to point to their reputation and results as proof of their merit and skill. I am proud of my experience, record of favorable outcomes and the respect I have earned from legal professionals and the local community.

In criminal defense cases, I unyieldingly value my client's presumption of innocence, and provide a strong, non-judgmental defense. For personal injury and wrongful death clients, I take seriously my obligation to stand up to insurance companies for fair compensation. I am compassionate and committed, believing that no other attorney can serve my clients better.

I have the legal knowledge and experience to bring cases to successful results without being stuffy or elitist. I am a regular person who happens to be an attorney. My own experiences have made me empathetic to people who have suffered devastating personal injury at the hands of negligent corporations, and professionals.

I am happily married with four beautiful children: David, Jason, Nicolette and Jessica. I actively participate in their athletic, musical and academic endeavors.

I also enjoy playing golf as often as possible and am a passionate Harley Davidson rider I routinely enjoy traveling the countryside on my motorcycle with my wife and companion, Linda.
